**Exciting Nursing Opportunity: MS-Tele Float Nurse (Nights)**

**Job Description:**

- Join a dynamic team as a **MS-Tele Float Nurse** in a fast-paced acute care setting!

- **Shift Details:**
- 12-hour night shifts
- Flexible scheduling with 6-9 weekend shifts over a 6-week rotation

- **Orientation:**
- Comprehensive 1-2 day orientation with a preceptor
- A mix of remote and in-person training

- **Float Pool Units:**
- Float across various specialties:
- General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, & ED Observation

- **Patient Care:**
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratios: 1:5-6 based on acuity
- Engage with a diverse patient population, including:
- Adults, Geriatrics, Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho, Oncology, Renal, Post-surgical, and more!

- **Required Certifications:**
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are a must

- **Experience Needed:**
- Minimum of 2 years of MS-Tele experience required
- Preferred: Prior neuro experience

- **Responsibilities:**
- Titration of drips such as Heparin
- Collaborate with a designated Charge Nurse who typically does not take a patient assignment unless necessary

- **Team Support:**
- Access to nurse aids on the unit
- Respiratory Therapy equipment, including vents, CPAP, and BiPAP available

- **Scheduling:**
- Block scheduling not available; flexibility required to fill gaps in permanent scheduling
- Submit all time-off requests in advance of assignment

- **Dress Code:**
- Scrub colors: Any color of your choice

- **Cancellation Policy:**
- Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment; 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks
