Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - ICU (Travel)

Location: Ironwood, Michigan
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Specialty: ICU
• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience (Medical-Surgical experience highly preferred)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Hours: Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float Requirements: May float to Medical-Surgical unit if needed
• On Call/Call Back:

  • Can be low censused and placed on call
  • Call back minimum response time: 2 hours
  • On-call hours count toward 36 low census unbillable hours
  • Call back pay available if called back to facility

Certifications & Skills Required

• Michigan RN license
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Ability to work independently, manage change, and complete tasks timely
• Social and resilient personality preferred

Unit Information

• ICU Unit with 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Scrub colors: Any color allowed

Additional Notes

• Radius rule: Must live outside a 50-mile radius
• GSA not applicable during orientation week
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
