Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Atlanta, GA 30342 – Georgia healthcare job
• Facility Setting: Diagnostic Radiology – Allied Health Unit
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 11/24/2025 – End: 2/21/2026)
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 11:30pm
• Shift: 8-hour evening shifts, 5 shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,820 - $1,870
• Holiday Coverage: Required to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve)

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist in Diagnostic Radiology
• Valid Radiologic Technologist certification
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Diagnostic Radiology
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Proficient in OR cases, Fluoroscopy, portable x-rays, Emergency Department (ED), and general x-ray procedures
• Ability to work required holiday shifts
• Travel healthcare candidates only – no local applicants within 50 miles

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including OR, Fluoroscopy, portable x-rays, ED, and general x-ray exams
• Deliver high-quality patient care and ensure accurate diagnostic imaging results
• Assist physicians and surgical teams during radiology procedures
• Maintain radiology equipment and adhere to safety protocols
• Accurately document imaging procedures and patient information
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support positive patient outcomes
