- Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) – Travel Nurse
- Contract Type: Per Diem Travel Nursing Assignment
- Start Date: November 3, 2025
- End Date: January 31, 2026
- Duration: 13-week nursing contract
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights (3:00 PM – 3:30 AM), with flexibility to 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM as needed
- Minimum Shifts: At least 2 shifts per month required
- Unit: 14-bed Emergency Room with 4 minor treatment beds; nurse-patient ratio 4:1
- Charting System: T system
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,780 - $1,910 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of New York (NY RN license required)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room Registered Nurse experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Certification (must be obtained before start date)
- Completion of 8 hours of CEUs as part of facility orientation
- NYS SAFE certification preferred (not required)
- Flu vaccine or declination (mask required if declining)
- Travel nursing experience preferred
ER Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients, responding to acute and emergent situations
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Accurately document patient information using the T system electronic charting
- Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Participate in ongoing nursing education and complete required CEUs
- Flex to cover various shifts as needed to support emergency department operations
