- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing – Emergency Room Registered Nurse
- Unit: Emergency Department (ER)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:00am), 3 shifts per week
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Duration: 21 weeks (Start: 11/25/2025, End: 4/20/2026)
- Orientation Dates: 11/25 or 12/9
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,310 - $2,480 per week
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Permanent Massachusetts RN license (Registered Nurse)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification – must have before starting
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification – must have before starting
- Skilled in managing all ER cases, including pediatric patients
Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of medical emergencies
- Provide specialized care for pediatric patients, adapting to the rise in pediatric illness
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff
