Job Details – Georgia Emergency Room RN Travel Assignment

• Location: Stockbridge, GA 30281 – Explore nursing jobs in Stockbridge, a vibrant community just south of Atlanta, offering excellent amenities and easy access to city attractions.
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1570 - $1610
• Assignment Length: 18 weeks (Start: December 1, 2025 – End: April 6, 2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: Emergency Department (59 rooms, average 250 visits/day)
• Patient Population: Neonates to Geriatrics
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
• Floating: Yes, as needed
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Charting System: Epic

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
• Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with Level 3 trauma center or higher preferred
• Proficiency with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems preferred
• Ability to care for diverse patient populations (neonates to geriatrics)
• Availability to work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements prior to start
• At least 1 year away from all Piedmont facilities if previously employed as permanent staff

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a busy Emergency Department
• Manage a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 59-room ED
• Perform triage, assessment, and ongoing evaluation of patients with trauma, stroke, CHF, STEMI, chest pain, and other acute diagnoses
• Administer medications, IVs, and procedural sedation
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and ventilated patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including PT, RT, pharmacy, radiology, and social services
• Utilize Epic for charting and maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Float to other units as required and participate in rapid response teams
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
