• Duration: 14-week contract
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1950–$2090

ICU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Deliver high-quality critical care in the ICU setting
• Operate emergency equipment and perform advanced procedures
• Document patient care and progress accurately
• Enhance patient and family satisfaction through compassionate communication
• Comply with National Patient Safety Goals and Universal Protocols
• Utilize safe transfer techniques and proper body mechanics
• Customize care for surgical and medical ICU patients
• Educate patients and families on procedures, care plans, and discharge instructions
• Assist with pre-admission testing and perioperative assessments
