Mammography Technologist Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license (permanent required)
• ARRT certification in Mammography (M) preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist
• Experience with Hologic mammography units is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Mammography Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms using Hologic equipment
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and privacy during all imaging procedures
• Follow all regulatory, safety, and facility protocols for mammography and documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging logs
• Assist with scheduling and workflow management to optimize patient throughput
