Labor & Delivery RN Job Details

• Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
• Location: Pittsfield, MA 01201 (Berkshire County)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract

• End Date: February 23, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 - 07:30)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2200–$2260
• Healthcare Setting: On-site hospital Labor & Delivery unit

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current COVID-19 vaccination and booster (no exemptions)
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work scheduled night shifts
• SSN and DOB required for compliance
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Pittsfield, MA (local candidates not eligible)
• Former Berkshire Health Systems employees must have a 2-year separation

L&D RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a busy Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout labor and delivery
• Assist physicians and midwives with deliveries and clinical procedures
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered
• Accurately document patient care in electronic medical records
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
