Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Chicago, IL 60615 (Bronzeville)
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Facility: Level 1 Trauma Center
- Start Date: December 9, 2025
- End Date: March 10, 2026
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:30)
- Hours per Week: 40
- On-Call: One 12-hour weekend shift per month (Saturday or Sunday, 7A-7P or 7P-7A)
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2620-$2690
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand upon submission)
- Current RN certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
- Proficient in both scrub and circulate roles
- Experience in Ortho, Ortho Trauma, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery required
- Preferred: Experience in Neurosurgery (crani and spine), Open Heart/Thoracic, Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatric, and Gynecology
- Must complete all documentation and onboarding requirements prior to start date
OR RN Responsibilities
- Deliver perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center operating room
- Scrub and circulate for a wide range of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, trauma, vascular, urology, and general surgeries
- Participate in on-call rotation (one 12-hour weekend shift per month)
- Float to other healthcare units within a 50-mile radius as needed, supporting a collaborative care model
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
- Work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
