Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Chicago, IL 60615 (Bronzeville)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Facility: Level 1 Trauma Center
• Start Date: December 9, 2025
• End Date: March 10, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: One 12-hour weekend shift per month (Saturday or Sunday, 7A-7P or 7P-7A)
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2620-$2690

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be in hand upon submission)
• Current RN certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
• Proficient in both scrub and circulate roles
• Experience in Ortho, Ortho Trauma, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery required
• Preferred: Experience in Neurosurgery (crani and spine), Open Heart/Thoracic, Ophthalmology, ENT, Bariatric, and Gynecology
• Must complete all documentation and onboarding requirements prior to start date

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced Level 1 Trauma Center operating room
• Scrub and circulate for a wide range of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, trauma, vascular, urology, and general surgeries
• Participate in on-call rotation (one 12-hour weekend shift per month)
• Float to other healthcare units within a 50-mile radius as needed, supporting a collaborative care model
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
• Work closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
