Unit Information

• Number of Beds:

  • 24 LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)
  • 10 NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)
• Patient Ratios:

  • 1:1-2 patients (Labor/Delivery)
  • 1:4 Postpartum
  • 1:4 Well Infants
  • 1:2-3 NICU
• Staffing: RN, Unit Coordinator (UC), Patient Care Technician (PCT), Lactation support
• Equipment: Fetal Monitoring, Alaris IV Pumps
• Documentation System: CPN
• Scheduling: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• Floating Policy: No floating required

Required Skills and Certifications

• Required Skills: Fetal Monitoring
• Certifications:

  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Procedures Performed: Labor and C-Section

• Dress Code: Black and Hot Pink uniform required
• Patient Experience Requirements: Fetal Monitoring, NRP, ACLS
