Equipment Used: Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines, Kangaroo feeding pumps, PCA pumps

Shift and Hours

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
Weekend Hours: Every other weekend
Call Requirements: None

Qualifications

Required Certifications:
- NC or compact nursing license
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
Years of Experience: At least 2 years
Must Have Skills/Experience:
- Cerner experience
- IV competency
Preferred Skillset/Experience: Charge experience

COPD exacerbation
GI bleed
Diabetic complications
Wound care
Pancreatitis
Sickle cell crisis
End of life care/hospice
Falls
Weakness

Additional Notes

Float Requirements: As needed, float to surgical, neuro, intermediate (will take med-surg level patients)
Personality Fit: Candidates should be team players and strong patient advocates, able to keep up in a busy environment.
Required Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in nursing
