- Location: Boston, MA 02115 – Premier destination for Massachusetts nursing jobs
- Setting: Pediatric Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
- Job Type: Travel Registered Nurse Contract
- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 1/4/2026 – End: 4/5/2026)
- Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 07:00–19:30, Night: 19:00–07:30); 50/50 day/night rotation or straight nights; every other weekend required
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2360–$2420
- Charting System: EPIC
- Parking: Discounted off-site parking with shuttle service; free parking for night shift
Pediatric RN Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience (PICU, MICU), including ventilator management
- Active, permanent Registered Nurse license (RN license required)
- BLS and PALS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
- Travel nursing experience in pediatric healthcare jobs
- Trauma Level I hospital experience
- Ability to float to CICU, MSICU, NICU, and PICU units
- Two professional references from two of the last three healthcare employers (must be different facilities)
Pediatric RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate pediatric nursing care in the MICU
- Manage ventilated patients and those with complex conditions (congenital heart disease, post-neurosurgery, trauma)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Float to other critical care units (CICU, MSICU, NICU, PICU) as needed
- Utilize EPIC for accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in weekend and rotating shifts as scheduled
