Job Description

• Shift: Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
• Experience Required: Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience. Must have 18 months permanent Med/Surg/Telemetry experience prior to travel.
• Licensure: Must have a permanent Ohio license or a compact state license in hand.
• Certifications Required:

  • AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification must be obtained prior to start.
• References: Two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required for submission.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Additional Requirements

• Testing: ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation; acceptable scores required.
• Documentation:

  • Government-issued photo ID required while on assignment.
  • Various health documents including:

    • Physical Exam
    • Fit Mask certification
    • Vaccination records (e.g., Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B)
    • TB testing
    • Drug screening
    • Background check
    • Education verification
• Competencies: Unit-specific competency exam required within 12 months of start, updated annually.
• Onboarding: Completion of online training modules prior to start.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum of 1.5 years of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
