Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44195
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2250–$2310
• Healthcare Setting: HVTI-Stepdown Float Pool Unit
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/19/2025 – End: 3/20/2026)
• Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts per week (Days: 7:00am–7:30pm / Nights: 7:00pm–7:30am)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent Cardiac Stepdown RN experience (travel nurse experience accepted)
• Active and permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license
• Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Certification required
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• Ability to work at least every other holiday

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients in a fast-paced float pool environment
• Monitor and assess cardiac rhythms, respond to changes in patient condition, and implement evidence-based interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care using hospital charting systems
• Float between cardiac stepdown and related units as needed to support hospital operations
• Participate in ongoing nursing education and complete required clinical modules and assessments
