Travel RN Opportunity – Spine / Joint / Hip Preservation Center

Location: Lonetree, Colorado
Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Orthopedic / Spine / Sports Medicine

Unit Overview

• Unit: Spine, Joint and International Hip Preservation Center
• Number of Beds: 13 ORs
• Staff: Approximately 26.7 Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs)
• Shifts:

  • Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, variable RN/CST and ancillary staff depending on surgical blocks and scheduled cases
  • Night Shift: Staffing varies
• Patient Ratios: 1 RN/CST per OR
• Equipment: Multiple ORs equipped with specialized orthopedic and spine surgical tools
• EMR system in use

Required Skills and Experience

• Must have orthopedic and/or spine skills and experience to be considered
• Experience in:

  • Orthopedics, sports medicine, total joint replacement
  • Spine cases including repair and fusion
• Typical procedures include:

  • Hip, knee, and shoulder joint replacements
  • Arthroscopic sports medicine cases
  • Hip preservation PAO cases
  • Spine surgeries (repair, fusion, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates with the above orthopedic and spine skills will be prioritized

Personality Fit

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working with diverse personalities

Certifications and Licenses

• Registered Nurse License (valid in Colorado)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Contract Length

• 13 weeks
