Oncology RN Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, OH 44106 (University Circle)
• Healthcare Setting: Medical Oncology Infusion Unit
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: January 25, 2026
• End Date: April 25, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, no weekends or holidays
• Nursing Shifts: 8-hour days (08:00 AM – 05:00 PM; includes 2 late shifts/week)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shifts per week: 5
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2250 - $2310

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or Multi-State Compact License (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• Recent oncology infusion nursing experience (required)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in acute care or infusion therapy
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing (required); BSN or higher preferred
• Proficiency with infusion pumps and patient monitoring equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Physical ability for frequent standing, walking, and lifting

Oncology Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient, age-specific nursing care to oncology patients and families
• Administer chemotherapy and infusion therapies per established protocols
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Demonstrate expertise in infusion therapy and patient monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on cancer treatment plans and symptom management
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to healthcare standards
• Participate in ongoing professional development and unit initiatives
