Radiology Technologist Job Details
- Location: Atlanta, GA 30309 (Midtown – Atlanta healthcare jobs)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,320 - $2,380 per week
- Assignment Length: 14 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 13, 2026)
- Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:30 – 18:00), every other weekend required
- Hours per Week: 40
- Setting: Electrophysiology Lab (EP Lab – clinical support)
- Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
- Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
- Call: None
Radiology Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Radiology Technologist (EP Lab experience preferred)
- Active Georgia or Compact Radiology Technologist license (must be in hand at time of application)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and either CCI RCES or CCI RCIS
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
- Experience in community hospital and trauma level I or II settings preferred
- Ability to work every other weekend and major holidays as required by assignment
- Must provide two supervisory references (Manager or above)
Radiology Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Electrophysiology Lab, including cardiac ablation, cardioversion, pacemaker insertions, and catheterizations
- Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data and cardiac rhythms
- Assist with complex cases such as ventricular assist device insertion and radiofrequency ablation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Float to other radiology units within the facility as needed, within scope of practice
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic charting system
- Participate in orientation and complete required modules
