Radiology Technologist Job Details
- Location: Atlanta, GA 30309 (Georgia healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Type: Travel Contract
- Clinical Setting: Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
- Start Date: January 5, 2026
- End Date: April 13, 2026
- Duration: 14 weeks
- Shift: 4x10-Hour Days (07:30 - 18:00)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Call: None
- Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
Radiology Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist (EP Lab or cardiac cath lab experience preferred)
- Current Georgia or Compact Radiology license (must be active at time of application)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- CCI RCES or RCIS certification preferred
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
- Experience in community hospital and trauma level I/II settings preferred
- Ability to work every other weekend and major holidays as scheduled
- Must provide two supervisory references (manager or above preferred)
Radiology Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Electrophysiology Lab, including cardiac ablation, cardioversion, pacemaker insertion, and catheterizations
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and hemodynamics
- Assist with complex cases and special procedures as needed
- Float within the facility as required, within your scope of practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Document procedures and patient information accurately using the Epic system
- Maintain compliance with all facility policies and procedures
