Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Fort Myers, FL 33908 (Florida nursing jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel RN Contract
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• End Date: March 28, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM), with required on-call
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,890 – $1,940
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Patient Population: Adult and Pediatric Operating Room
• EMR System: Epic

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience required
• Pediatric OR nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Florida RN license preferred for local candidates)
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Degree accreditation must be on profile or 5+ years of clinical nursing experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility (radius rule for travel nurses)
• Willingness to float to other units or sister campuses as needed

Operating Room RN Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care for adult and pediatric patients in a busy operating room
• Assist in a variety of surgical specialties: ENT, General, Vascular, Endovascular, Robotics, Dental, GYN, Ortho, Spine, and Neurosurgery
• Participate in scheduled call shifts (average 4 per month, including evenings, overnight, and backup call)
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR system
• Float to other units or campuses as needed, functioning as core staff
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive unit culture
