Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Canton, GA 30115 (North Georgia healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 12-week travel contract
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 4, 2026
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (8:00am – 4:30pm)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2000-$2050
• Employment Type: Travel healthcare assignment

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist, Rad Tech, or Radiation Therapy Technologist
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Valid certification as a Radiation Therapy Technologist
• Ability to work at least one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during the assignment
• Must not reside within 50 miles of Canton, GA (Georgia travel healthcare jobs)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT, MRI, Vascular, Dexa, and general diagnostic studies
• Administer radiation therapy treatments per physician orders and clinical protocols
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging and radiation therapy equipment
• Monitor patient responses and ensure safety throughout all procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with healthcare regulatory standards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
