• Healthcare Setting: Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Start Date: December 22, 2025
• End Date: March 23, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (6:42 PM – 7:12 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
• Weekend Requirement: Three weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period (Friday and Saturday)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800-$1930

ICU RN Qualifications

• Active Michigan RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Surgical ICU (SICU) nursing experience
• Open Heart trained ICU nurse
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Current SICU skills checklist (within 1 year)
• Two supervisory reference forms from the last two years
• Permanent address must be outside a 50-mile radius of Midland, MI

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs in the Surgical ICU
• Coordinate and deliver comprehensive critical care for pre- and post-operative patients
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient progress
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality, integrated critical care in a fast-paced environment
