• Healthcare Setting: Telemetry Unit (includes Emergency Department overflow at night)
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: December 16, 2025
• End Date: March 18, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour evening shifts
• Hours per Week: 36
• Openings: 5 Tele RN positions available
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1550 - $1660

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (Pennsylvania RN license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in telemetry, cardiac care, or acute care nursing
• BLS certification (American Heart Association required)
• Ability to work 12-hour evening shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and critical thinking skills
• Travel nursing experience is a plus, but not required

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to adults in the telemetry unit and ED overflow
• Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and prescribed treatments
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Educate patients and families on care plans, cardiac monitoring, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and patient-centered environment
