Travel Nursing Job Details

• Start Date: January 6, 2026
• End Date: April 7, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 3x12 hour days (07:00 - 19:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1870-$1920
• Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
• Charting System: EPIC (EPIC experience required)
• Floating: Yes, float to other units as needed

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Experience with oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and peripheral line care
• Must reside at least 75 miles from Rochester, NY (no local candidates)
• First-time travel nurses accepted

RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy 39-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to rapid response/code teams
• Administer medications, manage oxygen therapy (including high-flow oxygenation), and care for trach patients
• Implement isolation precautions and infection control protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, social services)
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC
• Float to other hospital units as required
• Complete orientation and required modules prior to start
