• Location: Trenton, NJ 08638 – Central New Jersey healthcare jobs in a lively city with cultural attractions
• Setting: Float Pool (Emergency Department Holds, MST Units)
• Contract Duration: 8 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Schedule: Every other weekend & every other holiday required
• Start Date: January 13, 2026

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required at time of application
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical Telemetry (MST) nursing experience (2+ years preferred)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale (current and valid)
• Flu vaccine required (no declinations accepted)
• Ability to float between RMC and Hopewell campuses and work in any MST unit or Emergency Department Holds as needed

ER RN Float Pool Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department and Medical Surgical Telemetry units
• Float between assigned Trenton, NJ campuses and hospital units based on staffing needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR system
• Adhere to hospital policies, including shift make-up requirements for missed shifts
• Maintain compliance with all required nursing certifications and vaccination policies
