Cardiac Stepdown RN Job Details

• Location: Thomasville, GA 31792 (Georgia healthcare job)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks, with possible extension
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• Shift: Day, 12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00)
• Schedule: Option for 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts per week
• Setting: IMCU Stepdown Unit
• Employment Type: Travel nursing assignment
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1570 - $1610

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or compact state)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Critical Care, ICU, or Stepdown nursing experience
• Proficient in IV starts, lab draws/sample collection, and titrating critical drips
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Royal blue scrubs required (not provided)
• Ability to work some weekends and holidays
• Minimal to no requested time off (RTO) during assignment, especially around holidays
• Candidates must reside at least 30 miles from the facility

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Stepdown/IMCU unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
• Initiate IVs, collect lab samples, and manage/titrate critical drips
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per facility and healthcare standards
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
