Description

Travel RN - Operating Room (OR)

Location: Naples, Florida
Employment Type: Travel

Job Details

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, four 10-hour shifts per week)
Work Schedule: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts

Requirements

Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
Experience: Minimum 2+ years with strengths in Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Robotics
Preferred: CNOR certification
Ability to float between campuses as needed

Job Description

Provide patient care in the Operating Room in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR technicians
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in surgical patient care
Ensure availability of supplies and timeliness of surgical cases
Communicate with patient families and update physician preference cards
Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures
Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the OR
Adhere to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies

Additional Notes

The role requires flexibility to float between different campuses
Emphasis on teamwork and communication within the surgical team
