Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to complete all onboarding requirements, including background check, drug screen, and health screenings (MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, TB/PPD, Fit Test, Physical/Health Statement)
• Completion of nursing skills checklist and competency exams
• Valid Driver's License or State ID

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to medical-surgical patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
