Radiology Technologist Job Details
- Location: Portland, OR 97225 (Oregon healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/20/2026 – End: 4/21/2026)
- Healthcare Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital
- Unit: Cath Lab (Non-scrub position; focus on Neuro, Interventional Radiology, and Cardiac procedures)
- Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:00 – 16:00)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2710 - $2920
- On-call: Yes (weekday and weekend; 30-minute response time required)
- Charting System: Epic
- Parking: Free on-site
- Scrubs: Provided for OR/Cath Lab
Radiology Technologist Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience
- Active Oregon OBMI Radiology Technologist license or eligibility to obtain
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and CCI RCIS or ARRT
- Experience with Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac, and Interventional Radiology procedures preferred
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Ability to float within hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities
- Reliable vehicle required for assignment
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
- 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Radiology Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, including angioplasty, stent placement, neuro/cerebral angiography, stroke thrombectomy, cardiac procedures, and coil embolization
- Monitor patients and equipment during procedures
- Maintain sterile field and assist with room circulation
- Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias
- Document procedures and patient information using Epic
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Participate in on-call coverage and respond within 30 minutes
- Float to other units or affiliate hospitals as needed
