Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Portland, OR 97225 (Oregon healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/20/2026 – End: 4/21/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital
• Unit: Cath Lab (Non-scrub position; focus on Neuro, Interventional Radiology, and Cardiac procedures)
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:00 – 16:00)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2710 - $2920
• On-call: Yes (weekday and weekend; 30-minute response time required)
• Charting System: Epic
• Parking: Free on-site
• Scrubs: Provided for OR/Cath Lab

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab Radiology Technologist experience
• Active Oregon OBMI Radiology Technologist license or eligibility to obtain
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and CCI RCIS or ARRT
• Experience with Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac, and Interventional Radiology procedures preferred
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Ability to float within hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities
• Reliable vehicle required for assignment
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, including angioplasty, stent placement, neuro/cerebral angiography, stroke thrombectomy, cardiac procedures, and coil embolization
• Monitor patients and equipment during procedures
• Maintain sterile field and assist with room circulation
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias
• Document procedures and patient information using Epic
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Participate in on-call coverage and respond within 30 minutes
• Float to other units or affiliate hospitals as needed
