• Shift: 12-hour shifts; weekend and holiday availability required

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Stepdown nursing
• Active RN license in New Jersey or compact state (NJ nursing jobs)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Completion of Stroke CEUs, PCU or Critical Care courses
• Willingness to float among hospital units based on census
• Ability to work weekends and every other holiday
• Physical ability to lift, carry, crouch, kneel, and stand/walk for extended periods
• Successful completion of all orientation modules and in-person classes

RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care to observation and inpatient status patients in the ED and inpatient units
• Float among Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Stepdown units as needed
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
• Participate in required orientation, training, and ongoing nursing education
