Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel healthcare contract
• Location: Fenton, Missouri (63026) – St. Louis area
• Clinical Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:30; may vary 06:30 – 17:00)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirement: 11-12 call shifts/month, including 1-2 weekends
• Scrubs: Provided

Qualifications for CT / Rad Tech Jobs

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, CT Technologist, or Radiologic Technologist
• Valid ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
• Proven experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to take scheduled call shifts, including weekends
• OSHA Respirator Clearance and FIT testing required (must be clean shaven)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, including cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations, and laser-assisted interventions
• Assist with scrub procedures, temporary pacemaker placement, and STEMI cases
• Operate and maintain advanced imaging equipment (Philips, Siemens X-ray, IVUS/IFR/FFR)
• Monitor and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias; respond promptly and appropriately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response
• Maintain sterile technique and adhere to all healthcare safety protocols
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in compliance with healthcare standards
