Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania or compact RN license
• At least 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical RN experience
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association preferred)
• Experience with electronic charting systems preferred
• PA fingerprinting and Childline clearance required upon offer
• Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of contract signing
• First-time travel nurses and local candidates encouraged to apply

RN Responsibilities – Med/Surg Nursing Jobs

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a busy Medical/Surgical unit
• Manage patient ratios of 1:6 during night shifts, with LPN support
• Conduct patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor progress
• Perform IV starts, central/PICC line management, telemetry monitoring, and post-hemodialysis care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (PT, RT, pharmacy, social services)
• Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control standards
