Assignment Type: Travel RN job
Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg), 20 beds, 9th Tower, Main Building
Start Date: January 19, 2026
End Date: April 20, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)
Hours per Week: 36

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Colorado or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Experience in wound care and burn care preferred
Team-oriented, positive attitude
Familiarity with Meditech EMR system a plus

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to diverse patients in a 20-bed Med/Surg unit
Perform wound and dressing care for post-operative burn and flap patients
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including charge nurses, LPNs, and PCTs
Operate clinical equipment such as hoyer lifts, air taps, and wound vacs
Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
Support unit policies and foster a positive, team-focused environment
