Med/Surg RN Job Details

Location: Englewood, CO 80113 (Denver metro area)
Assignment Type: Travel nursing job
Unit: Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg), 9 Tower, Main Building
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state
At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Experience with wound care and burn care preferred

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to post-op burn and flap patients
Perform wound and dressing care procedures
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including nurses, LPNs, and PCTs
Operate clinical equipment such as hoyer lifts, air taps, and wound vacs
Document patient care using Meditech EMR system
Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude to support optimal patient outcomes
