Travel Nursing Job Details

Location: Fort Myers, Florida 33908
Assignment Type: Travel RN
Healthcare Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Start Date: January 19, 2026
End Date: April 18, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Nursing Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 4 days/week (flexible start times and day off)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Call Requirement: Yes
Floating: Yes (may float to sister campuses)
Electronic Medical Record: Epic EMR

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Florida or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
Proficient in both scrub and circulate roles in the CVOR
Prior travel nursing experience preferred
Ability to float to other units or campuses
Strong communication and teamwork skills

CVOR RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care for cardiovascular surgical patients
Perform scrub and circulate duties in the operating room
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare professionals
Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
Participate in on-call rotation as required
Float to other units or sister campuses as needed
Maintain a positive and professional culture within the surgical team
