Travel Nurse Job Details

Location: San Antonio, TX 78229 (Texas healthcare jobs)

Facility Setting: Pediatric Operating Room, Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute, Pediatric PACU
Shift: 8 Hour Days (06:45 AM – 3:15 PM)
Hours per Week: 40
On-Site Registered Nurse Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
Experience in pediatric OR, thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, sub-acute, or pediatric PACU preferred
BLS certification (required)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to surgical patients
Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during operating room procedures
Prepare and maintain the OR environment according to healthcare standards
Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies promptly
Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
