Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Rochester, NY 14621 (New York nursing jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel RN contract
• Start Date: January 20, 2026
• End Date: April 21, 2026
• Duration: 13-week healthcare contract
• Shift: Day shifts, 3x12-hour (07:00 - 19:00); option for 4x12-hour shifts upon approval
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Site Position
• Openings: 2 Med/Surg Tele RN positions
• First Time Travelers: Welcome – great opportunity for travel nurses
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Floating: Required (overhire float unit)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New York Registered Nurse license required at time of application
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• EPIC charting experience
• Ability to float to different units as needed
• Must reside more than 75 miles from Rochester, NY (local candidates not accepted)

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in Med/Surg Telemetry units
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias; provide appropriate interventions
• Administer oxygen therapy and manage non-invasive airway devices
• Perform peripheral IV line care and management
• Utilize rapid response and code teams as needed
• Implement isolation precautions and infection control protocols
• Float to various hospital units based on facility needs
• Document patient care using EPIC electronic medical records system
