• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm – 7:30am), 3 shifts/week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience (acute GI preferred)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Georgia or compact state
• Current BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• Telemetry monitoring experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Acute GI Medicine Unit
• Monitor and assess patients with gastrointestinal and COVID-related conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate clinical documentation
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe and supportive clinical environment for patients and staff
