Dialysis RN Job Details

Location: Cleveland, Ohio 44111 (Ohio nursing jobs)
Healthcare Setting: Hospital Dialysis Unit & ICU bedside
Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
Start Date: February 13, 2026
End Date: May 15, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Nursing Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00am – 7:30pm)
Hours per Week: 36
On-call rotation and every other weekend required

Dialysis Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Dialysis RN experience required for travel nursing jobs
Active Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license (must be in hand at submission)
Current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications
Two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Dialysis (within past 12 months)
Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation

Dialysis RN Responsibilities

Deliver intermittent hemodialysis (IHD) services in hospital dialysis units and ICU bedside settings
Connect and disconnect patients from peritoneal dialysis treatments
Operate Fresenius dialysis machines (comprehensive orientation provided)
Participate in on-call rotation and work every other weekend as scheduled
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation in compliance with healthcare standards
