Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, OH 44111 (Ohio nursing jobs)
• Unit: 6th Floor Telemetry
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse contract
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 2/13/2026 – End: 5/15/2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts/week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: W2

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• At least 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel assignments
• Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact State RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Current BLS & ACLS certifications from AHA 
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• Two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, director, or Charge RN in Telemetry (from assignments worked in the past 12 months)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (2 attempts maximum)

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care to patients in the Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Participate in orientation and ongoing competency assessments
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
