Respiratory Therapist Job Details

• Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104 (Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Large hospital (300+ beds)
• Shift: Night shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00pm – 7:30am; every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Employment Type: Local/Travel, On-Site
• Start Date: February 16, 2026
• Travel Pay Rate: $2421/week

Registered Respiratory Therapist Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting
• Experience in large hospital environments (300+ beds) preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
• Strong clinical skills, adaptability, and commitment to patient care

Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in a hospital setting
• Conduct patient assessments, administer treatments, and perform respiratory therapies as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient progress and accurately document clinical care
• Respond to emergency situations and deliver critical respiratory support
• Maintain respiratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and healthcare standards
