Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Des Moines, Iowa (50309) – Iowa healthcare jobs
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Assignment Type: Travel Radiology Technologist
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 2/2/2026 – End: 5/4/2026)
• Shift: Day shifts, 4x10 hour shifts/week (7:00 AM start), 40 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,350 - $2,530
• On-Call: Variable, with additional compensation
• Floating: Required across all Des Moines campuses to similar units

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Electrophysiology (EP) and Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL)
• Valid Technologist certification (ARRT or equivalent)
• Active Driver’s License
• Completed skills checklist for Electrophysiology/EP and Cardiac Cath/CCL
• Professional reference from a charge/supervisor/nurse manager/director/CNO/COO within the last 24 months (preferred)
• CEPS or RCES certification (preferred but not required)
• Previous travel healthcare experience (desired but not required)

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab, specializing in Electrophysiology
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver exceptional patient care
• Float to similar clinical units across Des Moines campuses as needed
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to urgent cases
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR system
• Support orientation and training for new healthcare staff
