ER RN Job Details

• Position Type: Per Diem Registered Nurse Contract
• Location: On-site in Randall Manor, Staten Island, NY 10310 (New York nursing jobs)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $805 - $895
• Shifts per Week: Minimum 1 shift bi-weekly (at least 2 shifts per month)
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Day Shifts
• Contract Length: 52 weeks
• Start Date: February 2, 2026

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
• At least 1 year of recent clinical experience in an Emergency Room (ER RN experience required)
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required
• ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and urgent medical conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and families during emergencies
