Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Location: Des Moines, Iowa (50309) – Iowa healthcare jobs
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab & Electrophysiology Unit
• Employment Type: Travel healthcare contract
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 2/24/2026 – End: 5/26/2026)
• Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts/week (7:00 AM start), 40 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2350 - $2530
• Float: Required to float across all Des Moines hospital campuses to similar clinical units

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Electrophysiology (EP) and/or Cardiac Cath Lab
• Valid Radiology Technologist certification (ARRT or equivalent)
• Driver's License required
• Skills checklist specific to Electrophysiology/EP or Cardiac Cath Lab
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months (preferred)
• CEPS or RCES certification preferred but not required
• Previous travel healthcare experience preferred

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in Electrophysiology and Cardiac Cath Lab units
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
• Float to similar clinical units across Des Moines hospital campuses as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR system
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to call-backs as scheduled
• Comply with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
