Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Job Details

• Location: Lexington, KY 40503 (Kentucky healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 2/9/2026 – End: 5/11/2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07:00 – 19:30)
• Weekly Hours: 36
• On-Call: Minimum 2 weekends in 8 weeks and 1-2 nights per week
• Patient Population: Middle adult to geriatric
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,340 - $2,510

Qualifications for CT / Rad Tech Jobs

• At least 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or related clinical specialty
• Active ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Valid Kentucky license or compact state license required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Two professional references required
• First-time travel healthcare professionals welcome

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures (right/left heart cath, interventional cath, rotablator, IABP, closure devices)
• Monitor, interpret, and manage cardiac dysrhythmias
• Circulate and scrub for cardiac procedures, ensuring sterile technique and equipment readiness
• Utilize Epic EMR and computerized documentation for patient records
• Deliver care for 15-30 patients daily in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Participate in neuro interventional procedures after training (carotid angiography with stent, stroke intervention, IR procedures)
• Float to other clinical units as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation (weekends and nights)
