  • Job Title: CT / Radiologic Technologist – Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Location: Portland, OR 97210
  • Healthcare Setting: Acute Care Hospital, Teaching Facility, Level I Trauma Center
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 2/23/2026 – End: 5/25/2026)
  • Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour days (Monday–Friday, 07:00–17:30)
  • Weekly Hours: 40
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2420–$2600
  • On-Call: 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks (Friday end of shift to Monday 07:00; 30-minute response time required)
  • Parking: Free in unrestricted spaces; EV charging available
  • Scrubs: Provided for Cath Lab; any color except all black or camo print

Qualifications for CT / Radiologic Technologist Jobs

  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and Angiography procedures, including scrub experience
  • Active Oregon State Radiologic Technologist License or proof of application/fingerprints
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R or RCIS
  • Proficiency with Epic charting system
  • Ability to float within the hospital and across the health system as needed
  • Completion of required education modules within one week of assignment
  • No felony background
  • Recent reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager (within the last year preferred)
  • Must not reside within 50 miles of any Legacy facility
  • Return staff policy: 1 year separation required

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including cardiac stent placement, PCI, and PTCA
  • Set up and operate imaging equipment, maintaining sterile technique during all procedures
  • Interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and apply isolation precautions as required
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a fast-paced, Level I Trauma environment
  • Float to other units within the hospital and health system as needed
  • Complete accurate charting and documentation in Epic
  • Participate in scheduled on-call coverage
  • Comply with all mandatory education, compliance, and orientation requirements
