Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

On-Site Registered Nurse Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state
At least 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiac Stepdown or acute care nursing job
Stepdown unit experience preferred
BLS certification required
Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Cardiac Stepdown RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients
Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing changes and responding appropriately
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families regarding cardiac conditions, procedures, and recovery
Document all care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record
Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff
