Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, OH 44113 (Ohio healthcare jobs)
• Unit: 5D Orthopedic / Surgical – Medical/Surgical Telemetry
• Employment Type: Travel RN Contract
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 2/13/2026 – End: 5/15/2026)
• Shift: Day Shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00am – 7:30pm)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Setting: On-Site, hospital-based nursing job

Travel RN Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or Compact State (multi-state) RN license
• Current BLS & ACLS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date
• Two recent professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, director, or Charge RN (within the last 12 months)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor, interpret, and document cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical competency assessments
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
