CT / Rad Tech Job Details

• Location: Salisbury, North Carolina (zip 28144)
• Healthcare Setting: Combo IR/Cardiology/Vascular/EP Lab (80-90% IR cases)
• Assignment Type: Travel Contract (North Carolina travel healthcare jobs)
• Duration: 13 weeks (option to extend up to 20 weeks)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour days (07:30 – 16:00)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250
• Call Requirement: Weekday call (16:00–07:30) twice a week for 2 weeks/month; weekend call (Friday 16:00–Monday 07:30) once a month; no call the week after weekend call
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
• Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
• Orientation: 40 hours (scrubs provided)

Qualifications for CT / Radiologic Technologist

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT / Rad Tech (Interventional Radiology experience required; 90% IR cases)
• Active ARRT or RCIS certification
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• North Carolina or Compact state license (must be in hand at start)
• Ability to scrub and circulate IR/Cath Lab procedures
• Telemetry skills
• Preferred: EKG lead placement, ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, RCIS with Med experience
• References required at time of start (two manager/supervisor references from past 12 months highly preferred)

Healthcare Responsibilities

• Assist providers during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures
• Scrub and circulate IR/Cath Lab and cardiology procedures
• Operate specialized equipment: GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, Angio Jet, Pneumbra, EKOS, Inari, CSI Atherectomy System, Bovi System, Radiofrequency Ablation Unit, Sono Site, S2000 Ultrasound Unit, IABP, Impella
• Work collaboratively with a three-member call team (including one RN)
• Respond to urgent/emergent procedures (STEMIs, IR cases) with callback times as required
• Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety
• Participate in equitable rotation for additional coverage as needed
• Complete required modules and training pre-start and annually
