Radiology Technologist Job Details

• Shift: Night shift, Friday-Sunday, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30)

Radiology Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist or X-Ray Tech
• ARRT-R (Radiologic Technologist – Registered) certification required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Clinical experience in ED, ICU, acute care, and outpatient healthcare settings
• Ability to work independently and perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures
• Valid compact license or Maryland state radiology license
• First-time travel healthcare professionals are encouraged to apply

Radiology Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures for adult patients in emergency, ICU, acute care, and outpatient settings
• Operate GE and Siemens imaging equipment and systems
• Conduct bedside and portable radiology imaging procedures
• Prepare and administer contrast media for imaging studies
• Maintain strict infection prevention and radiation safety protocols
• Document imaging procedures and manage patient records using PACS
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
